First, I’d like to thank you for taking this time out of your life to stop by my profile. My name is Julius Charles Steen. I’m 48, born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I’m an artist, I’ve always loved to draw, do arts and crafts. I’m into sports, watching movies, comedies and have a zest for life and adventure. I’m single, have never married and have no children, although my dreams are to change all three of these and many other dreams. I look forward to finding someone who will look past my past and be willing to share a part of her life with me based on friendship, honesty, and trust. I’m an open book seeking to find someone willing to risk opening herself to new and worthwhile experiences. I graduated from High School; I was a PAL (Peer Assistance Leader). I played all sports in HS; I was also vice president of my class for all 4 years of HS too. I’ve been incarcerated for 28 years. I’ve done a lot to make this time count for something positive. I have participated and graduated many classes: Bridges to Life, Voyager, Celebrate Recovery, Toastmasters International, also taking vocational classes and I just graduated to become a Life Coach. Becoming a Life Coach has been a fulfilling dream come true, it has allowed me to be an active contributor in helping to change the culture for my fellow residents here in prison. I hope to find someone I can have inspirational and uplifting conversations with or writing to one another. I hope to get to know more about you, your life, your wants, your let-downs, your hopes, and your dreams; also sharing mine too. In closing, I would like for you to know that prison saved my life, prison changed my life, prison helped to give me purpose. If I sound like someone you’d be interested in connecting with, then do not hesitate to write or e-message through Securus. I promise a prompt reply to all your letters or e-messages. Thank you for your time and interest, God Bless. Sincerely Julius Charles Steen
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
