What’s up everybody, my name is Daryl Henry, though I’ve been known throughout the years as Rambo. If you feel like taking the time to get to know me, I can tell you how I happened to get that nickname, but I will tell you right off the bat that it has nothing to do with shooting huge machine guns and taking down bad guys. Far from it. I have signed up for this pen pal service in hopes to meet good hearted, like-minded people and what do I mean by “like minded”? Well shoot, now that I am writing this bio, it comes to me that there is no way that I’ll have enough room on here to describe that. So, with the limited space I have on here, I’ll just say this. I am in the middle of a 20-year sentence in the federal penitentiary for some stupid things I did as young man. I have learned from my mistakes and am looking forward to moving forward with my life in a positive direction. I am currently single and would really enjoy getting to know someone on the outside, building a friendship through phone calls and letters. From there, anything is possible, but I know that any solid relationship, romantic or otherwise, is best built up slowly, brick by brick, with honesty and trust. The things I enjoy are cooking, music, family and friends. I am a firm believer that all the best music ever made came from the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. All of it. R&B, pop, rap, classic rock, don’t matter. Love it all. Being a black man not even 30 yet, I get strange looks when I listen to ______ or _______. But like I said, I still have some time to do. If you are out there looking for someone to talk to, I pride myself on being a great listener. If you are lonely and in need of a friend, then I am right here, waiting on you. If you are out there and looking for something more than that…well I’m only one letter away. Life is a beautiful thing. A crazy thing. So crazy that you can never be sure what’s around the corner. But I know one thing for sure: You will will never know unless you look.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
