Hey you!

My name is Benjamin, but my family and friends call me Ben-Ben, I’m 37 years old and I am from Chicago. I’m an outgoing and down to earth man, that despite my circumstances still find joy in the simple things in life such as telling my famous (and some might say corny) dad jokes to keep a smile on my face and others around me. I also enjoy reading, working out, and studying the world around us, whether old, new, or unfounded. Being in Prison gives a man a real perspective and a certain understanding on life and what he wants out of it. I assume every adult comes to a point in their lives where they think and reflect on what could be, for me, right now I see so much upside. I still believe the best is yet to come for me, I’ve always been the one to see the glass as being half-full as opposed to being half empty, and I believe that a person with a warm heart and great character and personality can prove to be what changes a situation for the better. I really do hope that I’m blessed enough to stand out in your eyes, and you find me intriguing because it’s much more of me to uncover but I guess I have to wait until mail call to see if I’m worthy of a response.

Until then,

Benjamin

How Does This Work?
This is a great time to briefly introduce yourself and let the inmate know what interested you about their pen pal profile.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
