Call Me Benjamin

Do you appreciate the finer things and the random, whimsical and silly events that make us laugh at ourselves? You’ve found a kindred soul! (Check out my April ’26 podcast, updated Buzz blog and go to: A&Rarts.com to see my full gallery).

Call me Benjamin. I am a university educated, amicable, witty, poetic artist.”Bad-boys” are a dime a dozen. Consider an emotionally stable, secure, mature, confidant gentleman who treats his friends generously and has impressive, yet achievable goals with a bold future beyond the wire. Born in lowa and reared in Minnesota; I am a painter, musician, actor, father, brother and animal lover. I am a fan of adrenaline sports like skydiving, speed racing, biking, and watersports, and others. I have Red Cross certification as a swimming instructor and lifeguard. I am the eldest of three and blessed to have two sisters and six nieces/nephews and one son. I enjoy music (particularly EDM) but listen to everything. I follow hockey (Go Minnesota Frost!), Formula 1, sci- fi, comedy and political intrigue books and movies. I have been a dog groomer and trainer. In addition to painting, I am teaching myself guitar.

Life is more than intellect or physical attributes. I am not dead yet and have an incomplete bucket list. I yearn to experience more that life has to offer and want to live a fulfilled and happy life and share that joy with others. I love learning about global events and cultures. I’m looking to build worldwide (and local) connections with others through a mutual appreciation of art, animals, financial goals and other shared experiences. Please ponder the following:

-You deserve to feel safe.
-You deserve happiness. You deserve love.
-You are worth it.

Colors, shapes and shade can influence our mood and emotions. They can stir feelings of sadness, happiness, serenity and passion. When I am motivated to create, I want to inspire others with a sense of pride, confidence, joy and hope by transforming something beautiful from a blank canvas. If you want to learn how to start your own art collection, pursue financial security, discuss politics, sports, or just connect, please use the message box on this profile, snail mail, or leave a 15 second voicemail message at: 507-484-9930 x-53824. Please include your country code. I will never call collect. I am a member of the SEMVA.com co-op and have created projects for friends in New Zealand, Ireland, Russia, the U.K. and locally in the U.S. I seek to expand my social and professional network within and beyond the states, at present, through mail and by phone.

My crime was in 1998 and I have completed my time but am currently in a state residential treatment center. To learn how to start investing in your own art collection or just connect with me, please reach me through the message box on this profile, directly by mail, or call. Please leave a 15-second voicemail message at: 507-484-9930 x-53824 and include your country code. I will never call collect.

How Does This Work?

More Pen Pal Profiles

× lightbox

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
