Hello World! My name is Barlon, and I am glad you are taking the time to reach out. I’m a 41-year-old, from Texas. But I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am 6′ tall and I weigh 210 lbs. I’m Black/Puerto Rican, I have 1 child, a son. Never married, but maybe someday if I meet the right person.
I am kind, caring, outgoing, spontaneous and I love to have fun and experience new things. I am almost always open to try something I have never tried before. I am former law enforcement, a college graduate, and USAF veteran. I enjoy music, traveling, woodworking, and photography, to name a few. I once owned a travel agency and as a result I did a lot of travel. I have been to Canada, Spain, Mexico where I have seen the Mayan ruins, The Keys and multiple states across the U.S.
I am currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, then on to my MBA and eventually master’s and Ph.D. in Psychology.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like cooking, especially on the grill, I can grill the hell out of some steaks. I like hunting, fishing and I like enjoy paint ball tournaments, skydiving, and rollerblading. I would eventually like to go snorkeling, I have never been, but when I do I would love to snorkel The Great Barrier Reef. I would like to take a European cruise, and I would like to also visit the African continent and maybe complete a missionary trip in Ghana. I want to travel and see the world.
I am looking for friendship right now, I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures, if I happen to meet the right person and it becomes more than that I am fine with that as well. I have no preference on race or creed. I am willing to talk with anyone and hopefully we can become friends. I am an open book, so if I haven’t answered any of the questions you would like to know just ask me and I will tell you. Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
