Be Resilient by Tyreall Duboi

I’ve gone through so many things from a extremely difficult childhood, to coming back to prison, to being a trap star. What has kept me resilient through my life? Self-talk and encouraging myself are what made me shake it off and be prolific instead of being down on myself and being in the dumps. Self talk helps keep me productive and it hyped me up , like a fighter. When I’m up against the ropes, I tell myself, “I’m going to get through this I know what they’re saying, but I’m going to show everybody and show myself that this isn’t going to be the end of me”. By putting it out there and saying that you’re going to start doing things every day to do that. It takes so much discipline to be resilient. Being persistent and being resilient, it’s about doing stuff once you fall down, once the haters are laughing at your mistakes. Resilience is about bonding instead of breaking. You need to keep your focus and follow your passion, even when nobody’s around. Be resilient through your words and actions. Have faith that hardship will pass, know that whatever happens does not forever define you. Resilience is weathering the storm even after everyone else has ran off and given up on you.
