Unwavering by Matthew Reynolds

He is her cure
she is his cure
I am he
and she is me
together we bloomed
apart we wilt
mere particles alone
tragically floating away
kismet bond persists
ionization, together again
she cures him
he cures her
flush with joy
unparalleled elation
pinnacle of life
love transcended
they are one
we are they
we are one

She needs my help
I’m locked in this box
they locked me away to protect her?
yet all the while they were
DESTROYING her
now she is left broken
and desperate
with the only cure for her pox
“safely” locked in a box
