Many believe prison inmates to be completely undeserving of love or friendship. PenPals.Buzz founder, Big Steve, disagrees. Every Monday, from a studio in beautiful downtown Red Bluff, California, he discusses a different aspect of the prison pen pal experience. A former radio personality in San Francisco, Big Steve has extensive first-hand experience with the prison system. He even met his wife on a prison pen pal website. During the few minutes a day when he’s not working, Steve enjoys chess, poker, carnitas nachos, reality TV shows, and working to give incarcerated men and women a sense of hope, thereby reducing the recidivism rate. He believes men and women should be judged by who they are today, not by a mistake they made many years, or decades, ago.
