Hello World!
My name is Taylor Crisman and I am 28 years old currently. I was born in a very small town in Ohio. I was active in sports my entire life and continue to stay physically fit even on the inside. Sometimes we have the opportunity to participate in prison sports, such as flag football, basketball and softball tournaments. My leisure time is spent reading and listening to Christian radio stations. I thirst for knowledge and have been enrolled in several college courses, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in theology. It is a slow process working through the mail and limited communication. In addition, I read romantic novels, action and military thrillers, historical fictions, spiritual growth, as well as, considerable hours in my Bible. I have a passion for music, particularly, country (90’s to 2000’s), pop and R & B, and mostly contemporary Christian. I spend a lot of time creating lyrics that I hope to someday add to music. My dream upon release is to make a career in this field.
Nine months after my 18th birthday, I made a very stupid choice and was arrested by the FBI. You can obviously see my crime, and I am very ashamed of myself and regret this immensely, not because I was caught, but because it was wrong! I had never been in trouble before, and this was so out of character for me. I was not brought up with this lack of training. I was thrown into an atmosphere that I had never in my life experienced and had no clue how to adjust. During these past ten years, I have made many bad choices, but I have also finally surrendered to the life I had been taught to live my whole life. I am definitely not the “best” me yet, and it’s a daily struggle, but I persevere. I know my release date is very far off, but I am confident that God is in control, laws have changed, and I am a different person, and therefore, it will be sooner. My hope for this website is that someone with similar desires and characteristics will want to be a friend to me. Someone like-minded, intelligent, funny, who knows what they want in life and is focused on moving down that path. One who wants to build a long-lasting relationship, built on love, trust, respect, and good morals. I need a self-confident friend who knows their worth and can mentor another with that confidence. Someone who can motivate and encourage me to be that person God intends for me to be. I hope to be that also for someone else, having learned much from this experience in my life. My desire is to ultimately share with young people my testimony and what pit holes to avoid to save them from making similar choices. If you are reading this and feel a tug to correspond with me, please do.
God Bless You and your family!
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
