Hello,
My name is Rodney Kosak, and I am currently locked up at the United States Penitentiary in Marion Illinois. I am serving a 6-year sentence for drug trafficking and my current release date is March 5th, 2026. I am from Dayton Ohio, but I will be getting released to Columbus Ohio. Here are some personal stats and a little background on myself. I am 55 years old, I’m 6’2 tall, and I weigh 210 lbs. I am an exercise enthusiast and have been an athlete most of my life (not professional). I am a college graduate; I am single with no children. I am not a religious person, but I was raised catholic, went to catholic grade school and high school when I was growing up. I enjoy living life on my terms., sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t lol! But at least I can say I am always true to myself, and I always present the most authentic “me” I can be. I try to find ways to enjoy my life as much as possible and I always maintain a positive attitude in the good and bad times; I am also a music junkie!! Over the years I have listened to all kinds of music, but I tend to listen to pop, R&B, hip hop the most. I’m looking to meet new friends that share the same positive energy that I do and who like building lasting friendships. I have an outgoing personality and I vibe with all types of personalities. I look forward to sharing my story!
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
