My name is Rob and I’m seeking someone to correspond with on a personal level to build a lasting friendship. I’m a realistic person & will not take your kindness for granted or as anything romantic, nor will I ask for money or favors ad nauseum. Long story short, I’m house trained ;0). Here’s a cleft notes version about myself. I attended college in Lynchburg Virginia for Sports Medicine, but like most people I ended up doing something completely different with my life. While in school, I developed a passion for cooking, and I started my journey down the restaurant rabbit hole eventually landing a job as a sous chef in Charlotte NC. I would describe myself as somewhat of a loner often finding more happiness spending time with my dog rather than hanging out with people. When I wasn’t at work I was training mixed martial arts, i.e. UFC, which was my version of therapy. In here I try to keep busy by staying employed in either the prison kitchen as a cook or cutting hair as a self-trained barber. When possible, I attempt to stay in shape either lifting weights or playing basketball. There isn’t much else to do, and I often find it difficult to hold intelligent conversations in here, so I like to sign up on pen-pal sites to meet new people and get my mind away from prison. Hopefully something I said caught your interest and you’ll send an email through Jpay.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
