Hello Ladys,

My name is Montrell, and I’m from East Saint Louis, IL. I enjoy reading, working out, cutting hair, listening to music, playing basketball, laughing, having a good time and making new friends. Despite life’s up’s and downs, l keep a positive attitude and remain optimistic. We only live once, so I believe it’s important to maximize your opportunities and experiences what life has to offer; one of the most important being that of genuine friendship.

I divide my days up by doing the things I enjoy though I spend a large portion of them reading most of them business books and knowledge books, l try to prepare myself for when I get out one day. Though I’m physically inside a cell and recognize my reality for what it is, do my best to mentally leave this mess up environment.

Now, however, I would like to expand my little world by meeting new people and making friends from all over, getting to know them and learning new things from them etc…

I’m open-minded and have no specific expectations with this though I hope to make great friendship and positive vibes and just enjoy the time being. So come and take some time out your day and let’s get to know one another.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
