My name is Michael, I’m 35 and I’ve been incarcerated for four years on drug charges. I’m looking for Someone that is interested in regular Correspondence about anything and for everything going on in both of our lives. I’ve got some time to do, and I think meeting people through letters is exciting because the possibilities are endless, and you never know who will pick up a pen or type a message.
A little about myself, originally from has Angles, California but have been in Arkansas for a While now. During the time in Arkansas I struggled with an addiction to opiates which led me to this lengthy prison sentence. When I was on the outside, I enjoyed traveling to different areas of the country to work and explore different cities. I also enjoyed good food, live music, movies, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
During my time incarcerated I enrolled in college, and I am working towards a bachelor’s degree, I’m trying to make the best out of this bad situation. I want to get out with as much education as possible and enough time off drugs that I can change the direction of my life away from the Stereotype of a felon or drug dealer to a man that has overcome obstacles and now has a career, family, and able to use his past to help others. I also work in the Kitchen as a Baker and am fortunate enough to get to learn how to bake all kinds of different Stuff. This has become one of my favorite things to do. I look forward to an opportunity when I get out to try out some of my bakery skills.
My love for live music has turned into collecting music on my tablet and I am able to get lost in the music of whatever my mood Calls for. I’ve got about 10 years left, After I’m done in Arkansas I’m on to the Feds to
finish up my time. So, I look forward to getting to know anyone that finds this and wants to give me a chance to get to know them and start a unique friendship.
I have e-messaging through Securustech.net (State of Arkansas).
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
