Hello there,
My name is Miachel. I firstly share with you that I am a warrior for my lord and savior, Jesus Christ. The holy spirit guides me in all things (Proverbs 3: 5,6). I am a proud father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. I am heterosexual and of Anglo-Saxon/Norte descent.
In 2001, after my conviction of 1st degree murder, I landed in a “Gladiator University” at the notoriously violent maximin security prison- CSP Sac/New Folsom. In 2013, through god’s grace I survived those first 12 years in that coliseum and earned transfer to this minimum-security level facility (MCSP) where I have continued to develop through positive transformations.
Since my incarceration, I have immersed myself in numerous CDCR rehabilitative programs. In addition to all the reformation curriculum, I also graduated from the Urban Ministry Institute, earned licensing as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (California and international), achieved several AA degrees, became a certified GOGI coach, carried out the role as the Celebrate Recovery Ministry Leader, play and sing in the praise & worship band, explored art and learned to create (all pictures on this profile are my artwork) and am currently attending the “SUM” seminary program taught onsite.
I strive each day to be the best version of myself in Christ. I seek to help others find their own pathway out of spiritual and worldly darkness and into the light. I have deliberately avoided new acquaintances for over a decade growing in relationship with my lord, nourishing in this word, and gaining much needed insight. I am blessed with a loving family and close community ties both inside and outside these fences.
A computer search should reveal the 1st degree murder and associated LWOP sentencing. I am no longer that young man who lived absorb in the flesh/world (Romans 7:4-6). I am responsible and provide no excuse for my actions leading to the consequences I now live under.
To connect, please first pray and ask the holy spirit for guidance. It is my hope to impart spiritually encouraging sharing- find me on “Getting Out”.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
