Whoever said “Only time will tell who your true friends nd loved ones are” wasn’t lying. In the span of 27 years, I went from having many friends and loved ones to only having a few each. The only honest explanation is, life happened but because time has been my companion, it told me, “People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.” and since life is too short for me to be living it virtually alone. I need to meet; I need to meet some people who want to be in my life for the rest of mine and their lifetime. It’s important to me!
A woman who deems me worthy of such a bond should understand prison is not my destiny. The way I see it, with exactly 9 years left, a clemency position on the governor’s desk awaiting a decision, a resentencing motion in the works and laws changing every day, I’m coming out this place one way or another! Ultimately, I want to walk into the arms of a woman who’s feminine and Lucious, intellectually supple and intelligent, an independent thinker who effortlessly embodies the values: Love, patience, understanding and loyalty. In the meantime, while we’re awaiting my eventual release, we’ll be designing the blueprint for our resilience network.
I’ve been locked up since I was 19 and it’s scary to think that people will overjudge me because I’ve been incarcerated longer than I ever was free, but it has been my quest for freedom that has kept me sane all these years. The same quest has allowed to mature and become better educated both formally and informally. In fact, I can declare with a humble definitiveness that I have what it takes to provide you the healthiest entanglement you ever had because let’s be honest, no relationship is without its complications. The difference between me and some men is, I’m not toxic. I won’t ever project my trauma onto you. More importantly, I’m better equipped to nurture your emotions. I’m definitely not saying I’m a woman whisperer! But I do know a secret :)
Let’ s make a deal. Go to Corrlinks.com and start and account so we can immediately start texting. If I’m not who I say I am, you can ghost me. No hard feelings. But if I am and we connect, you have to be in my life forever, exploring all the possibilities. Deal???
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
