My name is Lenora, I am currently at the California Institution for women in Southern California. I am a Taurus, born in May. I love music, movies, and crochet. I am a creative person and enjoy meeting new people. I hope to find someone who is understanding, and non-judgmental to be able to have serious conversations, expressive letters to share. I have received various certificates while here, for upholstery, dry cleaning, and other things, means I have varied interests, and would like to be able to share them with someone. I am looking for a friend first, with a good sense of humor, and who also has varied interests. I would like to be able to e-mail, write, or call, and not be limited to only one way of co communicating. My bucket list is not complete; I still want to sit on the beach and watch the sun go down. I am a very private person, though, an introvert who knows when to come out of her shell. when needed. I take myself as a serious person, but my friends will say I am goofy sometimes. After a lot of thought, I decided to try this site, I never know what may happen, I am just putting myself out there to see what new friends I will meet, and what new relationships could be formed. This requires a lot of vulnerability, com from both parties, and I hope that these first steps will lead to a lively experience. Thanks.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
