Take this chance on someone new

Strangers are friends that haven’t met yet, so allow me the chance for social development in hope of meeting a friend or two along the way. I’m a man that’s self-valued, self-made, but not self-centered. In a way it’s fair to call myself unique but not perfect. I seek life’s wonders and enjoy the Mystery of the unknown. I believe that all things happen for a reason whether we understand it or not, and life is only but a journey in which we travel alone or share. Open communication creates the desire to joy and happiness and those are two things that I or any person could enjoy in life.

I would now say thank you for taking the time to stop by my profile and for considering writing someone incarcerated because that alone says and shows of a unique person that separates from the others. I would not only enjoy but also appreciate the opportunity in getting to know someone of your magnitude. I’d like to know of your dreams, your goals, and what drives you in life? Maybe you could be my window to the world as a I strive in becoming a better version of myself and while doing so I’ll offer a loyal and genuine friendship that we could proudly cherish.

At this point in life after spending 10 years incarcerated, I could really use a friend(s) to help me navigate through these last few years. I’m a man that made plenty mistakes and I value the lesson in learning from those mistakes. I come from poverty and struggle but I possess determination, motivation, and inspiration in creating a new and better chapter in my book of life. I understand pain and I’m afraid of love. I’m not so good at talking about myself but I’m genuine, straight forward, and obsessively loyal. I love cooking, I enjoy playing basketball, and I am a committed poet.

I can’t dance but I’m goofy enough to embarrass myself trying. I still love cartoons, and I have the biggest crush on Sandra Bullock. (LOL)
I like tattoos but I only have eight. My favorite tv show is the neighborhood. Ima very good chess player and I listen to all different genre of music. I hold no judgement!

Take this chance on someone new and be rewarded a journey we can share.

How Does This Work?
This is a great time to briefly introduce yourself and let the inmate know what interested you about their pen pal profile.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
