I’ve been out of circulation for a good period of time, so be patient as I try to express to you who I am today. I am athletic, 46 years old, and from California. I really enjoy watching sports and playing them, however, don’t think I just watch them all day. I have been playing sports my entire life. I work out daily by lifting weights and doing cardio. In addition, I spend what free time I have being a barber, and actually, getting better the last few years! I like to take care of myself and take seriously being in good shape physically. I really enjoy reading my Bible and help to lead a Bible study daily.
So now you are wondering what I mean by being out of circulation. I have been incarcerated for the past 8 years. If I am honest, I learned the hard way how bad drugs are. Being lost in my own addiction, I had to find a way to support my habit. So, I started selling them. It looked like a good move at the time, but oh, how wrong it was! I’m an open book, so we can get into that later. You will be more interested in the man I am today, I promise! This experience has been very challenging, and painful at times. If I had never gone to prison, I wouldn’t be the man Christ has chosen for me to be, a man with integrity, morals and positive values. This is hard to say, but it’s been worth it. I have to add how much I value my family and friends. Having them believe in me and standing by my side through this trial has been a blessing and encourages me to strive harder. I have been working on my release and looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I can’t change the past, but I can put my efforts toward being the best version of myself. I am looking for a woman who loves Jesus, knows who she is, and what she wants out of life. My job as a man is to make her feel secure and value what we have. Just for the record I am also a great cook, one of my passions! Hopefully this puts a smile on your face. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I look forward to hearing from you.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
