Hello, how is it going everyone? My name is Josh, but I prefer to go by “J” or “Jay” because it’s the first letter in my name. If I hear someone calling me by my actual name, I feel like it’s my mother or grandmother calling me because I’m in trouble. Speaking of being in trouble, this is my first time getting in trouble. I decided to take a break from California during covid and move to Oregon to find affordable housing while working on my real estate career and be a lot closer to my younger brother who was attending a university out there. I am pretty new to something like this, but I want to put myself out there. I really enjoy meeting new people and seeing what people have going on to learn or help in some way. I am a very fun, laid back, and positive person. I like all kinds of music and can play a few instruments. A small secret about me is I really like dancing! haha! When the music hits and I have a drink on my hand, I’m all smiles. I don’t have to be with someone to have a good time. I am pretty confident in myself, and I will go to concerts, shows, and even festivals by myself and end up meeting tons of cool new people from different places. My favorite festival is probably Coachella in Southern California. I have never been to a rave but the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas is on my list. Real quick though, I am single, I have no kids, and I come from a really big family on both sides of my parents. I grew up playing sports and I’m currently trying to finish my college credits so I can attend Arizona State when I get out. I have just a couple short years left before I hit the ground running, and I would like to meet new people and hopefully make some friends. Quick fact about me is I love the Dodgers and classic low rider cars. My longest relationship was 3 years, and I am open to a more serious relationship. I don’t like arguing or drama but if you’re cute enough I will always listen :) Contact me if you would like to connect! Yo hablo espanol!
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
