Discover what’s possible

If you’re looking for a best friend who is real, loving, funny, a little crazy (but that good crazy) and a lot of fun, then that’s me! I am on this site trying to meet people, share some laughs, and maybe meet that great woman that we can turn each other’s world around. If you’re lucky, once in a lifetime you will find someone who will completely turn your life around. You tell them things that you never shared with another soul. They absorb everything you say and desire to hear more. You talk of hopes for the future, dreams that will never be realized, goals you feel you’ll never achieve, the many disappointments this life has thrown at you.
When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell that person about it. You know they’ll be just as excited as you. Never will this person hurt your feelings or make you feel like you’re not special, like you’re not good enough. Rather they build you up and help you realize what it is about yourself that makes you so special, beautiful and lovely.
With this person you can be yourself and not have to worry about what others negatively think of you (like how one has to act in here) because they like you for who you are. Because the things that seem insignificant such as a letter, a phone call, an email, or a few minutes of being in one another’s company become these little, tiny habits of treasure kept as keepsakes and cherished.
Sometimes memories of your childhood come flooding back and are so vividly recalled you almost feel young again. Colors seem brighter and life becomes more brilliant. Laughter becomes a daily routine whereas before it was an infrequent visitor.
I know from experience that a pleasant phone call of two during the day if shared with some significant others helps to spread happiness through your life. Thinds that didn’t interest you before, what is worthwhile in these become noticeable, perhaps fascinating. You part ways with frustration and the people close to you become all the more special. This particular person who brings out that joyful side of you, you uncover their value and through this discovery your connection deepens.
A person has to open their heart even though there’s a chance it may be broken, making yourself vulnerable is the only way you’re ever going to have a deep meaningful emotional connection with another human being. You must put aside all your fears, because only true happiness is found in that truly scary kind of love. This is where your strength lies. This is the only place you’ll ever find your soulmate, the one who will remain loyal till the end, if one shows me love and that can be there for you at your lowest then I can imagine what we can be when I am at my highest. I know one of the greatest things in life is finding someone who knows all your flaws, mistakes, and weaknesses and still finds you amazing.
I am somebody who would love to find that special someone to grow old with but also knows that it all starts with friendship. I believe if we learn how to be friends then anything is possible, and we can only go up from there. We can bring the best out in each other by helping each other find a side of ourselves that we never knew we had. That’s the true measure of friendship- it isn’t how you feel about yourself. Making new friends keeps life interesting, exciting and keeps you young by adding more social capital you’ll have more opportunities, create new memories and try new things. These things are possible with someone locked up because physical things in life aren’t as important as the emotional connections we make.
When it comes to change, since being locked up at 23, I’ve worked on becoming a better person, now being over, I’ve become a mentor in a lot of things I do in here. I have a passion for music. I love anything from rock to the 90’s R&B music that is missed so much. I also love to draw, write, read, tattoos, movies, sports and meeting new people to name a few. I have four beautiful kids and now 2 grandkids. I love my kids and hope to be able to meet my grandkids soon. I work hard in here so I can get out and try to start great relationships with my kids that I never really had,
I am not looking for serious relationships. I end up getting too close and getting hurt. I figure screw that. I need a friend to joke and laugh with, to have a good time with but will help one another through hard times. I just need someone to talk to because talking to these men in here is not what I need. I need that special woman to talk to because women compassion is why God created women for men in the first place. He knew men needed that woman, so he won’t be alone and that is what I feel in here every day, lonely. I spend my time mostly researching my case trying to restore my freedom and having the justice that I was unfortunately denied. I am thoroughly convinced that I will one day very soon be exonerated from the charges that I have been wrongfully convicted of.
It’s not hard to find someone who tells you they love you. It’s hard to find someone who actually means it. I really believe that one day someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else. If you’ve read this far then take a chance, you’ll be glad you did.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
