My name is Jonah, I’m 27 and I’m from New Orleans. I enjoy reading, playing sports, listening to music, learning new things and laughing with friends.
Since being incarcerated I’ve obtained my Hi-set which is equivalent to a GED and I’ve taken multiple classes that helped me build my character and prepare for success on the outside. Lately most of my time has been dedicated to boxing though. I love boxing so much because it keeps me focused on elevation both in and out of the ring. I’m not content with being basic nor average, so I’m constantly striving to be the best version of myself for me and everyone around me.
I’m here seeking friends that are genuine, consistent, open minded, down to earth and loyal. I’m looking for friends that are real and honest because lord knows I had my fair share of fake friends and honestly that aint it lol.
People like being around me because I’m always for conversation, I have a nice sense of humor, and I always keep it real. I’m a good listener, an effective communicator, and I’m not the type of friend who will tell you what you want to hear. I give great advice but it’s always gonna be the truth and straight from the heart.
Thank you for checking out my profile If you want to learn more about me or would like to get to know me, download the Jpay App and type in 00719905 in Louisiana.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
