For the Conquering Authors Of Life~
You are the WRITER of your own destiny and HERO of your plot. Having the choice to execute what is rational—you’re the engine of your own happiness. My exotic travelers, if you recognize this, then when you look into my eyes, you’ll recognize an equal who wants to be part of your story. My latest chapter begins in 2024. It was more than that January’s ice crushing me. Mountainous years behind and ahead threatened to bury me. All those “why’s” and “how’s” keeping me alive had become too weak to lift up that heaviness. The decision to kill myself was closer than a lover’s breath. I had nothing to lose when I finally conceded to a friend’s tireless urging to read at least 50pages of Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged. Not until I read that sweeping John Galt speech did, I know what it meant to be human. Ms. Rand’s Objectivism saved my life. I’m not cynical, but pragmatic: Humanity advances through REASON and rational incentives. Over the cowardice of safety, I choose the audacity of the unexplored. I’ve deduced science to prove (an) intelligent designer(s) but not a god.
Open dialog and robust debate are cornerstones of civilization. Through arguments we find something useful—whenever society allows them. I might learn more from my opponents than I would from the boredom of those who merely agree. Our need for real-world solutions—over “faith”, “hope”, or complaining—has led to my working towards founding the religion of classical humanism in Connecticut prisons.
My burning desire is to save the world and become egotistically rich doing it. Look around you.
We’re living in the greatest period of human history… :-) pretty much. I’m thrilled by every day’s discovery. My interests span from money, movies, and technology to art and podcasts. USCF Postal Rating: 1868. Prison doesn’t keep me from the unexplored—for curiosity gives space and dimension to the castle of mind. If you’re excellent, take my hand and we’ll be excellent together. Trust in your engine of happiness, your novel, heroically steered life, and your driving plot. If you do, my friends, you’ll recognize a fellow traveler in me.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
