Hello, my name is James Andrew Dewhurst. Friends and comrades know me as “English Jim” as I’m originally from England, I am straight, white, and male. I have blonde hair which I keep cut very short and blue eyes which I keep open. I am 42 years old, 5’9, tall and 203 pounds. I’m currently serving life in prison (25 to life) for murder in the second degree.
I have appeals ahead of me so that may change. I came to the US when I was 26 years old and have seen a few places although I’m still a British citizen. I’m interested in art, music, history, politics, literature, football (soccer), boxing, horseracing, jurisprudence, travel and occult studies.
I am an Odinist and traditional and to the right. I love football (soccer). my teams are West Ham United F.C and Heart of Midlothian F.C. I also love music and used to go to a lot of shows prior to my incarceration. I mostly like hardcore punk, but I also listen to some metal and old 1960’s country. I don’t watch television shows or movies really, although I will watch football (soccer), boxing, particularly heavy weight and news. I read a lot, and I draw a little. I mainly read history books and political /occult studies. I used to write a lot of graffiti back in the day, so I’ve started writing and drawing again since I’ve been down.
I also study law and work on a fiction book I’m trying to write. I don’t have many friends on the outside and I have no family in the U.S. so I’m looking to make some new friends and perhaps a heartfelt connection with another human being as that’s the most one can ask for.
I enjoy reading and writing on many levels such as the art of a name painted on a wall, inked in the skin or scratched into glass or the beauty in the penmanship of a letter received, the joy of reading a great poem or hearing the voices echo down the age’s as I follow the lines of a great and powerful quote that resonated! I also love the endless mystery of the rune’s and all the wonder they stir in me. I find the occult fascination too, If you feel like writing to me go ahead as I would like to hear from you.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
