Hello,
My name is Ferdinand Cuevas-Heredia. I’m currently incarcerated in SCI-Greene in Pennsylvania. I have been incarcerated for (3) three years as of July 13, 2021. I have been working on proving my innocence. So, I can say from this stage in my life it is very important to me.
I’d like to tell you about myself and how I have grown in experience at this point in my life’s journey and path.
I was born to an American father and a Caribbean mother, I was raised in New York city, the Bronx I’m in the ending of the 4th stage of my life and I have uncertainty on this road I am very hopeful for the future to come, the time that I have spent here in state prison has propelled me to a more alert, clear mind and belief in self.
I prefer to surround myself with likeminded intellectual people but will display a rashness in public only to invite the restorative purposes.
Outside of the walls I enjoyed many things one being cooking I don’t do much cooking in here:( but I do read, draw, write, and workout. I feel alive when I work out:)!
I have recently taken a writing class in hope to someday write a picture book or a novel, I have been drawing from a very young age. By combining the two art forms would elevate the harmony of my vision, the position and function burdened by expression. I’m also a dual linguist. I am fluent in Spanish and English so please excuse some of my spelling:/
I am a very kind and very even-tempered Man I don’t like liars, and I always try to make the best of a thing I do feel very sad and alone at times because I’m hopeful that I can meet someone that I can write, talk have visual communication with.
I have two college Associates one in Culinary Art and the other in Drafting and Design, and here in the institute I have been assigned a job as a Spanish Esl tutor. Outside in the world I was an interpreter for the states of NY and PA Here in prison I find the need to help and teach educate my Latin community.
I do know how to have fun too but am serious when it is called for, I look forward to seeing the rest of the world and enjoy every moment of it. With time all will be as it should be
I wait to hear from you soon with great anticipation your new friend, F.C.H

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
