My name is Evan Dibona. I was arrested in August 2022 and will be released in late 2026. I’m here to connect with you and try to break up the monotony of prison. Whether you want to share a story, philosophize or just rant, I’m here for it.
I’m interested in homesteading, travel, technology, and a growing fondness for activism. (Legal activism at least). And in the spirit of new beginnings, I’m studying to become a paralegal.
But I want to hear from you. What brought you to a pen pal website? In the past I remember seeing post for prison pen pals, yet it never crossed my mind to actually write. I’ll tell you what though, writing full length letters instead of half sentence texts has been one of the few benefits to being locked up.
Thank you very much for taking the time to ready my post, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Have a great week!
P.s. apologies for not having a picture, I hear there are a few mugshots of me floating around though.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
