First and foremost, thank you for taking time to read my profile and hopefully reaching out to put a much-needed smile on a stranger’s face. Being a bright light in such a dark place is always a much-needed blessing, I sure do hope to return that light along with laughter and much more in hopes to show you there is way more to me then a prison photo. I’m 39 years old, and I’m looking to open my eyes, mind and soul in hopes learning what there is in the real world as I’ve been locked up almost 20 years and due for release in the next 8 years. I spend most my days in here, doing a lot of classes in hopes I’ll be the reason at risk youth on the streets will see there’s more to life and want to change. Seeing my story, struggles, and time spent behind bars will be an impact they will avoid and most of all learn that no matter what life has thrown my way, through hard work and dedication even me who spend 20 years so far can change and be that change in making this world a better place. I look forward to hearing from you, reach out through regular mail, make sure I get a return address to respond back, and you can also find me on the gettingout.com app which allows instant messaging with that said I sure hope your day or night is a blessed one.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Respectfully,
Eric Ryan Maxfield
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
