I’m placing this ad hoping to meet a woman with an open mind and a kind heart, that won’t hold my past against me. I’m so sorry for what happened to get me in here. These 34 years have been very hard on me only because I’ve had to do them alone with no support from the outside. I try to stay busy, go to the yard three days out the week, two hours each day and I look at TV.. so much but it helps me, it takes my mind to another place and makes me laugh, something I don’t get to do so much of.
I’m taking a chance on this ad, hoping to find a friend, someone I can talk to and make me feel like I’m more than just a number. That would make my day. I haven’t gotten any visits or video visits, It’s hard. My kids were so young when I left them (2, 6 and 7 years old). Now my son is 37, my girls are 32 and 36. They are so upset with me for not being there when they were growing up. My youngest girl wrote me two years ago, filled me in on how everyone was doing, sent me pictures of my grandkids and I have not heard from her since.
I don’t know what to do next. I could use the help or advice. I know I don’t fit the mold of a pen pal, too old and my smile wasn’t big enough. (smile)
