What’s good y’all? My name is Donovan but everybody just calls me Pony Boy. I’ve been down since 2021 and got a lil over 5 years left. Figured I’d get on here in hopes of meeting some new folks I can connect with before I parole!
A few things about me are that I’m 5’7″, 215 lbs., brown eyes with black hair. I love music. RnB, HipHop, and country. Also like writing my own lyrics.
Before I came to prison the best place to find me would have been at the beach or river. I’m a northwest raised Native American, so I naturally love the wilderness. But I’d just as quick roll through the city with friends to have a chill night.
On a more personal note, I’m a father to 3 beautiful girls. My oldest is 11 and my twins are 5. The day I get back to them will be pure joy!
I’m an August Leo. Natural born Leader, and far from a judgmental person. Don’t let the tattoos n scars fool you. I’m open to meeting all sorts of people. My exterior is not a reflection of who I am inside.
All that being said there’s a few ways you can reach me. You can write me by mail, and if that isn’t your speed or style, feel free to text me through the app “Getting Out” and I’ll reply as soon as I can.
I can also receive photos through mail or text. It would be great putting a face to the person I’m talking to. But either way I’d love to hear from you all the same!
I look forward getting to know you. Don’t be shy. I’m just a page or text away from becoming your newest friend. Thanks for checking out my page! You can find my contact info below.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
