I could be the best friend you’ve yet to meet or even a source of inspiration for you to make an important change in your life. The possibilities can only be explored if you take that first step and message me. Please feel comfortable starting anywhere, I’m very easy to talk with. I’m open-minded, kind, sincere, respectful, attentive, loyal, honest, carpenter, snowboarded, water-skier, street ant dirt bike, artis, avid reader, engine aficionado uncle, brother, son, grandson, father and convict. These are some of the words that describe but cannot contain me. The lattermost being a title I continue to fight to this day. Most recently with the help of the innocence project. Before this happened to me, I thought very briefly, because why would someone even consider they could go to prison someday, “that could never be me”.
Now that I am here, I focus on staying in the present moment with the help of mediation, drawing and designing cards for my family, exercising, reading nonfiction, listening to countless music artist from Reo Cragan, K.A.A.N, Lil happy lil sad and Doobie, bullet for my valentine, Killswitch, Engaged and God Forbid, attending religious events and doing all available programming. I’ve been awarded 11 different certificates from parenting to critical thinking, even an extremely rare certificate of recognition presented by the warden for my positive intervention coming to a female staffs aid when she was assaulted by another inmate. I’ve also done some continued education to practice up on my algebra and technical training. Above all I thank God, my family, and a few loyal friends for getting through this with me and while I’m open to meeting and communicating with anyone and, and to find and reciprocate more positive support, I’m painfully aware of the first thoughts that come to mind when you see the charge given to me. Your initial reaction may to instantly skip by or turn away.
I humbly ask that you don’t skip by or turn away and that you open this book. There are many chapters, pages, thoughts, emotions and information that you’ll never get from only looking at the cover. Lastly, I deeply appreciate anyone who does contact me. I will reply, promise to never judge you or your circumstances and always remain honest and respectful. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my profile.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
