I have been blessed with so many experiences

I have had an incredible life! I know what you are thinking, a prisoner, why is he so happy with his life? Well, I wasn’t always locked up. I used to be free; I used to live! I also know that after these 9 hard, lonely, painful years I only have 3 more until I see the parole board.
I have been through so much, both good and bad. When I was a kid, we used to travel, a lot. I lived in Guam and have been to Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia and Japan. I went to college in Virginia and am a well-educated computer engineer. One day, while living outside of D.C., I went through an extremely painful breakup.
Lost, broken, and alone I ended up packing up all of my belongings and began driving across America without a plan or destination. I tried to help anyone I came across that looked like they needed me. Eventually I found myself in Colorado where I tried to help the wrong person and found myself in Prison.
I have been blessed with so many experiences, from a 9 to 5 office job to being homeless freezing in the snow. Everything has given me a unique perspective and an inner strength. I have a genuine hope for a better tomorrow and am looking for people to share myself with.
From friends to potential partners, I want to hear from you! While you are reading this profile, trying to get to know me, I really want to get to know you!
What are your dreams?
Where do you want to go?
What makes you smile?
Who do you want to be?
“Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value of a joy you must have somebody to divide it with”- Mark Twain
While I do live in the highest custody prison in Colorado. I work here as a cook. I also bake pastries and cakes. What is your favorite dessert?
I look forward to hearing from you :)

How Does This Work?
This is a great time to briefly introduce yourself and let the inmate know what interested you about their pen pal profile.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
