My name is Chris, and I’ll hopefully get to know yours.
A little about me is that I was married to an amazing woman for almost 10 years before she lost the battle to stage 4 cancer. I was born and raised in Virginia for 33 years till I moved to Oregon to get married. Over those 10 years I did home healthcare work ranging from residential to private.
I recently started going back to school. After 2 years I finished going for my associate’s degree in business. I furthered my education with doing a couple of correspondence courses for canine specialist and electrician. Once I finish those 2, I’ll start plumbing and maybe one more to further my homesteading and business goals.
I will be graduating a college course in July, then taking composting and bee keeping in August. When I’m not in school I enjoy watching tv, doing beaded flat work and attempting to get better at drawing and painting. I also enjoy reading the occasional book but mostly a lot of do-it-yourself books.
Enough about me for the moment and let’s move onto what I’m looking for. First and foremost, everything starts with friendship. Then as we talk, email, or use snail mail it can turn into more. I like honesty since I’m transparent. Someone who can make me laugh, enjoy spontaneous road trips. A good conversation that can be engaging as well as sometimes challenging.
I’ll finish this by saying we are human, and we all make mistakes and this one is mine. I’m doing everything I can to learn from this mistake and turn it into a better future going forward.
