I’m sure you landed on my profile by accident because it sure wasn’t my looks helping me out lol! On a real note, thank you for reading my profile and taking a chance at something different. In here I stay busy by working in the laundry department. We wash, dry, iron and fold dirty laundry for local hospitals and clinics in Oregon and Washington. When I’m not at work I hit the books and do my college courses, exercise, draw, write and mentor the youngsters who come through here. Also, with the little money I make, I sponsor 3 children from Uganda that are in the orphanage called Otino Waa Children’s Village. These kids have tragic past and have lost hope but I’m an optimist and believe in miracles. If you think we have it bad, others have it worse.
I do apologize for being blunt but I’m looking for interesting, dedicated, determined, knowledgably, passionate, ambitious, creative, honest, and long-term friendships. No need to waste each other’s time if you don’t fall under these parameters. I’m looking for friends who mentally and emotionally evolved. Leave me a voicemail at 541-329-4849. I will only respond to voicemails so please no text messages. In your voicemail leave your name, address, age, what topics you enjoy talking about and a little about yourself. I look forward to hearing from you. What do you have to lose???
UPDATE: Thanks to all of you who continue to reach out to me. It’s heartwarming. Many of you have used the GettingOut app that O.D.O.C. uses to inform me that your mail is being “returned to sender.” This is due to our new mailroom rules. The envelope can’t have any security features, meaning, it must be white on the inside and outside. And use regular lined paper. Can’t wait to hear from you. Alex
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
