Hello my name is Thomas. This is my first time trying out a pen pal website. I’d like to first apologize for not being able to offer a photo, seeing that I am in my mid-fifties and have been in prison for 21 years. To give you an idea of what I look like, I am six foot one, 230 pounds, ruggedly built with broad shoulders, olive complexion, kind dark brown eyes and wavy salt and pepper hair. I am Cherokee Native, Sioux Native and African on my father’s side. I am Polish, French, Scottish and German on my mother’s side.
While I understand it is easy, even necessary to become curious about why somebody is in prison and the details of it, I find it appropriate to get to know a person well before sharing deeply personal history. But on a fun note, I’d like to share some of my interests and hobbies. In my younger years I studied Brazilian Jui-Jutsu an Russian Sambo. I also took great interest in learning to become a close-up magician and have had the opportunity at a college venue table- hopping performing magic tricks. Later on, I delved into the art of making pop up cards. Which I am very successful at to this very day. I also enjoy biblical studies and conversation with an open ear to learning new things. At this time, while I have no real-world experience, my cell mate and close friend is teaching how to trade options on the stock market, which he is very successful at doing with his own family and friends. Lat, but not necessarily lest, I have begun learning about gardening.
I hope you find my profile interesting and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Thomas Christopher Wood
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
