Salutations to the free world. My name is Steven Atril Johnson. Everyone except my mama and the police calls me Stevie J. I'm sending my love out into the world from inside a solitary confinement cell in the dungeons of the Oregon Department of Corrections. Even though I am in the very worst place a human being can be subjected to, my mind and spirit remain unbowed and unbroken. "They" try and "They" fail.

My sanity stays intact at the end of this pen through my artwork, my writings and hopefully you. My mind stays sharp through my education which is never ending. My soul stays humble through God. In13 months I'll be starting life over, a new man with a new beginning. I'm looking for new friends to go on this journey with me.
