Prior to my Incarceration I was a manager at The Embassy Suites Hotel, and I worked part time as a PCA. I enjoyed spending time with my kids, like going to my son’s football practices and games and taking my daughter to the park or just staying home and watching a movie with the kids. I Love to BBQ, cook, and EAT!
I’m sure you would like to know why I’m incarcerated. These random guys were trying to shoot my ex-girlfriend and me being the protector I am, took my gun that I was permitted to carry and fired one shot to protect my ex.
I spend my time on personal growth, building my business, having fun and quality moments with my loved ones. Since I have been incarcerated, I have become a Certified Mental Health Mentor and a Certified Facilitator for a class called “Thinking 4 A Change”. Next month I start taking a business essentials course here at my facility, I also have been taking a handful of other classes like parenting with a purpose, Restorative Justice and victim impact. Having lost years out of my kids’ life and mine due to incarceration, I now prioritize everyday as a step towards freedom.
