Looking for someone who can laugh with me… or maybe at me.
Let’s get the obvious part of the day. Yes, I’m writing from Prison. No, it doesn’t define who I am. I am 6’2′, about 200 lbs., hazel eyes, loyal to the sore, family orientated and probably one of the easiest people you will ever talk to. I’ve always believed that a person’s character is measured by how they respond when life gets hard, not when everything is going their way. This chapter has given me plenty of time to reflect, grow and figure out exactly who I want to be when I walk back into the world. I’m focused on becoming better every single day.
I have a sarcastic sense of humor, love making people laugh and I can carry on a conversation about almost anything. One day we might be talking about our favorite movies, the next debating about whether pineapple belongs on pizza (you’re allowed to be wrong). My family means everything to me and loyalty isn’t just something I talk about. It’s how I live. I’m not looking for someone who’s perfect. I’m looking for someone who’s genuine. Someone who enjoys good conversation, appreciates honesty and isn’t afraid to get to know the person instead of judging the circumstances. If you write me, you’ll actually get a reply. Shocking, I know. Somewhere along the way, handwritten conversations became a lost art and I’d like to help bring them back. Maybe it starts with one letter. Maybe it becomes something neither of us expected. Either way…. I’d love to hear your story. I’m a professional at waiting…. literally.
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
