Driven for Growth and Understanding

I am 6’2″, 220, with an athletic build, hazel eyes, and dark brown hair sprinkled with silver. I LOVE learning and creating, reading and drawing. In the world, I played guitar and was teaching my daughter. We also enjoyed doing “Bob Ross” style landscapes. Lately, graphite art has become one of my favorite pastimes. The look of happiness people get when they see their loved ones immortalized in pencil is priceless.

Also, I’ve been teaching myself Russian. Most people go their entire lives without ever grasping the fact that we can do whatever we put our minds to. I also enjoy work and exercise and the sense of accomplishment that goes with them.

In the world, unfortunately between family and work there wasn’t a lot of time for friends. There are a lot of people and interesting people out there and it’s my hope to maybe get to meet some of you. “Treat each new relationship like a potential work of art; to create a masterpiece, you must start with a fresh canvas.”

For initial thoughts or questions regarding my conviction, for which I’m currently still fighting. Before this people that knew me, knew me as a reliable and hardworking individual. Never before had I ever been accused of a violent crime. Alcoholic? Maybe. Violent? Never. Accidents happen, even terrible ones, and people get caught in the nets of the justice system. And nobody knows how it works unless you go through it. Regardless, still get up every day and try to change myself. Do better and be better than yesterday. If I’m going to spend time sequestered from my loved ones, then I will do my very best to make it mean something. Love and happiness to you all!!

How Does This Work?
This is a great time to briefly introduce yourself and let the inmate know what interested you about their pen pal profile.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
