My name is Mario, but family and friends call me "Rio". My adolescents, I grew up in N.Y.C./Queens, on Jamaica Ave.. Unfortunately, I came to Prison at a very young age, and now have been incarcerated for 28-years straight, since 1998.

In 2005 I got married to a wonderful woman. We had a great relationship, with lots of fun and enjoyed every minute of each other's company. Everything from going on trailers, festivals, visits, talking on the phone, being there for each other in life, etc. I'm very sad to say, in 2016 she suffered a stroke with brain damage, plus one side of her body paralyzed. I have not seen her since, nor spoken to her in many years. Even though I know I'll never see her again, I'm so grateful for the time we had together.

Being completely honest, I'm looking for someone to fill that void in my life, and in return let me bring joy to yours in many different ways. Friendships and something more are all welcome.

I keep busy by working out, so I can stay fit and healthy. I enjoy cooking, and make an assortment of meals, from many different cultures. I'm an avid reader of all kinds of books, but I must admit, I love my fiction. In the past, I've taught culture classes and programs in many Facilities. At times, I would have 20 to 40 students to teach. I enjoy and love teaching, as you can see. I have a good sense of humor, which more times than not, keeps a smile on people's faces, including mine.

I'm 100% Italian (Sicilian), 49-years old, but honestly look much younger. Have brown hair and Hazel/Green eyes. I'm 5'11", and around 200-pounds (Built Nice). Last, I have a long sentence, but with the issues in my case, and all the new Law(s) being passed for person(s) like me and/or with my time. I truly believe I'll be released sooner than later.

I'm hoping you can look past the stupid I was decades ago, and see the man (person), I am today.
