Have I piqued your interest?

Hello, my name is John Meadors, I’m 40 years old, born and raised in Fort Smith, AR. I’ve always been terrible at writing introduction letters, I never know what’s important and what’s not. I guess I should start by telling you about some of the things I enjoy doing. I love the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, just walking in the woods. I am definitely an animal person. I take care of 10 horses where I am at. I feed, groom, shoe and anything else they need. Riding horses is probably my favorite outside activity, and I get to ride as much as I want here. I am also pretty creative, one of my hobbies here is working with leather. I can make anything from belts to purses to holsters. I’ve even made a saddle. I also draw quite a bit. I’m a country boy, if you haven’t come to that conclusion by some of the things I enjoy doing. Music is important, my top 3 artists are Morgan Wallen, Cole Swindell, and Lainey Wilson, yeah, all country. I know I’m probably leaving out some important stuff but that’s what questions are for right, hope you have plenty. Have I piqued your interest? Guess I will have to wait and see.

How Does This Work?
This is a great time to briefly introduce yourself and let the inmate know what interested you about their pen pal profile.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
