Hello Heathens,

After 52 years on Midgard (Earth) and over 10 years in prison, I know I am a Heathen! As an Astrauar, I want to help our imprisoned folk to look passed the prison walls and fences, and to live a life built on good deeds and honor that both helps and aid in personal growth of our folk. We cannot undo the past, but we can build positive communities and strong families. What is an Asatru? Asatru is the reawakening of the ancient Germanic religious traditions being practiced by many today. Asatru is the ancestral religion of the Northern European people. Asatru is our traditional folk, predating Christianity by thousands of years. “The Odinic Journey is a movement towards higher consciousness”. For modern Heathens, this means bucking the trends of consumerism and complacency. We demonstrate Ansuz in our lives by becoming active in our local communities educating ourselves, planting a garden, showing pride in our heritage and changing our world for the better”. – Woden’s Folk Kindred

Let’s talk my friends.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
