I’ve been in Prison for 14 years under a wrongful conviction.

Hello,

My name is Herbie Moore. I am 41 years old. I’ve been in Prison for 14 years under a wrongful conviction. I’m reaching out for help because as long as nobody knows what’s going on this system will continue to coverup my wrongful conviction. The district attorney has already went as far as committing fraud. The state lied and said the person who gave the confession in 2016 as to being the person who did this crime. I’m wrongfully convicted of had already testified at my trial. This is not true my trial was in 2013 this person didn’t come to light until 2016 and confessed to being the shooter. A phone line up was done in 2017 with the picture of the person who gave the confession. The six pack photo lineup was conducted by the District Attorney office conviction integrity unit, the person who gave the confession was picked up by a witness who was there at the scene. The coverup came when the state committed fraud to take away my actual innocence claim by saying no new evidence in support of the claim of actual innocence petitioner presents no substrative documentary evidence that was not presented at trial. the state lied and said nothing has been filed in my case in 6 years from 2014/2021. My case summary under case@C-10-267463-1 will show that was also a lie. The only evidence was a witness who was threatened by police to take her kids. She admitted to lying to the jury. No fingerprints or DNA exists. The state decided not to seek DNA on any of the evidence found. My family paid the National Post Conviction Project over $16,000 they did not have. After they started talking to the state, I have not heard from them in over a year now. Nothing has been filed. they took our money, and the state is helping them. I filed a complain against the NPCP with the Nevada Bar number and found out they didn’t have a Nevada bar number. The Nevada bar said NPCP didn’t do anything wrong. I’m in the fight for my freedom and need help from someone who cares. Our country brings home wrongfully convicted Americans abroad, but nothing gets done for us here in our own country, With the right help I can get my life back soon.

Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.

Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
