Hello to whoever may be checking out my profile. A little about myself. My name is Greg. I am 53 and incarcerated in Washington State (Aberdeen). I am 5’8, 180 lbs. and feel pretty fit for my age! I am pretty new to doing this pen pal thing so forgive me if I ramble on. I am just taking a shot, seeing who’s out there and just looking to connect to good people in the world. I’m an Army veteran, having served in Germany (Hanau) and was deployed to Bosnia. I loved Europe and miss it very much. If my profile sounds interesting to you then there a couple of things I would like you to know upfront. I am a Christian and would love to meet other Christian people. With that being said, I do not judge and am open to talking to whoever. I spent many years judging myself for my crime so now by being a better version of me every day, I feel that is giving back to society for my actions. I am currently finishing my AA/DTS and will be transferring to a four-year Bachelor program shortly. Also, as you can see by my pictures, I am a service dog handler and have been doing that for the last 10 years. The dog with me is an 8-month-old Goldie named Sunny. Some of my best friends in the military and incarceration have been Hispanics (Mexicans). I am currently learning Spanish but I’m pretty horrible at it. I love and value all culture so wherever you are in the world I would love to hear from you. The worlds a rough place so we all need someone to connect and authentically listening to each other.

When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
