My name is Eric, first off. Finally, a site that’s built for those who live and breathe R&B and Soul music. As I sat back in my cell to get down on some Slow Jams I was hella uplifted to hear about PenPals.Buzz.
Because I’m state raised and been through so many sites and met lots of people who have absolutely nothing in common with me. I would share with those people how I grew up in Stockton California reading teen angel and lowrider magazines and listening to Isley Brothers, Keith Sweat, Guy, Surface, S.O.S, band Teena Marie or Sade and we had nothing in common with my R&B culture.
Whenever I listen to R Dub sharing listeners sweet and caring messages, deep down I wished there was a site who’d reach out to our special group of people. I’ve been a strong believer of that saying: “I’d rather have loved and lost then to have never loved at all”.
A little bit more about my interests and me. I’m looking to meet someone who likes a guy who enjoys working out and being romantic. Someone who enjoys to laugh as I love nothing more than hearing a womans beautiful laugh. I’m being released this year.
So, in closing I hope to receive mail, each day is a blessing, but our special culture brings love and care to the next level. Life is a slow jam, so if you’re ready, let’s do this!
*Please note that my current facility uses Jpay, we will soon be switching to Getting Out on July 3rd 2025*
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
