Howdy to my potential pen pal!

My name is David, and I’m a native Texan through and through. I’m 6 feet tall, about 210 pounds, blue eyes, although I’m working toward getting back down to around 190. I’ve definitely got a Texas accent, and I’m probably not what you picture when you think of the typical inmate.

I graduated high school in 2012 from a small Texas school with a graduating class of only 36 kids. After high school, I went to work in the oilfield and built a career for myself. At the time of my arrest, I was actually working in Alaska. Life has taken some turns I never expected, and I’ve had plenty of time to think about where I’ve been, where I am now, and the kind of person I want to be moving forward.

Before coming here, I enjoyed a simple country life. I love fishing, kayaking, hiking, stargazing, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family. Arrowhead hunting is one of my favorite pastimes. I can spend hours outside looking for one and enjoying the peace and quiet that comes with it.

Music is also a big part of my life, and my taste is all over the place. Some of my favorites are Tyler Childers, Charlie Robison, Bun B, Mudvayne, Tool, and Hank Williams Jr. If you decide to write, send me a list of your favorite artists and songs. I’m always looking for something new to listen to.

I’m hoping to meet female pen pals between the ages of 27 and 50. Location doesn’t matter to me, and I’d be happy to hear from someone anywhere in the United States or internationally.

More than anything, I’m looking for genuine conversation and a connection with someone who wants to get to know the person behind the circumstances. I’m open-minded, caring, trustworthy, and easy to talk to. I’m open to friendship, encouragement, building faith together, or even romance if a genuine connection naturally develops.
