Thank you for selecting my ad and taking the chance to get to know me and my history and for perceiving my need of a female companion in my situation. My name is Carlos! I go by the prison moniker “Scooby”. I just turned 63 years old on 1/9. My hometown is Houston, Texas (H-Town!) I was convicted for robbery w/ a weapon. No one was physically injured. I have been incarcerated for quite some time now. While under lock and key I decided to enroll and participate in rehabilitative programs to better myself, changing the way I thought and to prepare myself for parole release. My basis for this pen pal ad is to meet new friends and to establish a genuine friendship with you! Perhaps then we can be inspired by each other. I enjoy intellectual, open-minded, and stimulating intercourses. Although I am, incarcerated and are limited on what I can and cannot do, I still make some positive contributions to your life as your friend. I am a very good listener! Without any compunctions you can share/disclose your secrets, goals, dreams, dislikes, desires, fantasies, fears, etc. I am non-judgmental and hope you are as well. I enjoy reading books on biology, world and American history, Psychology, social study and books of knowledge. Most of the time I am gregarious and loves outdoors, camping, dancing, traveling, and being spontaneous. I am told by peers and associates that I have a great sense of humor. I am caring, compassionate, understanding, and giving. If you are looking for new friends that will appreciate the essence of you, then I am that guy. I am more than just a prisoner! My request to you is that you don’t stereotype all prisoners. Your hair length, height, weight, shape, race is not of importance. I’m interested in the beauty of your mind and the contents of your heart. I hope my letter has conveyed a most meaningful message and appealed to your palate. I look forward to meeting you and hearing from you. I really don’t know
Please note: This service gives you the opportunity to send your first message to a new pen pal, free of charge. If you send more than one message to the same inmate, or a message to someone you already know, they will not be forwarded.
When you send a message using this form, our staff will print and mail it via US Mail or forward it via the prison’s email system, every two weeks. Be patient, and don’t expect an immediate reply. Inmates can’t email you back directly, so include your full name, email address, and complete mailing address or phone number for a reply. Messages without valid contact info won’t be forwarded, nor will messages with threatening or abusive language.
Want to message directly and more quickly? Check the inmate’s profile to see which email service he or she uses (i.e. GettingOut, JPay, Securus). These services cost between 5 to 50 cents per message and offer you the ability to message them directly and instantly.
