I’m assuming my photo played a role in your interest, but to be honest, I would prefer if outer appearance wasn’t a factor into us potentially becoming friends. Personally, looks aren’t important to me. I’m much more interested in genuinely getting to know someone as well as genuinely getting to be known. I’m looking to make a connection above the physical. Although I recognize beauty, I’m attracted to the beautiful that can only be shown. Who you truly are, and who I truly am can only be revealed through time.
Typically, I’m not a man who defines himself with words, but I guess if there’s any time to do so, this would be the most appropriate. First and foremost, it’s imperative that you know that I’m a blessed God-fearing man, as well as mature, honest, loyal, passionate, intelligent, open-minded, funny, creative, thoughtful, patient, and caring.
I should also add that I’m lonely. Each day, it becomes more and more difficult to find an intellectual conversation in this place, so I spend my days alone, reading, writing, exercising, and preparing my mind for the day I’m once again a free man and able to be a productive member of society. God willing, that day will come this year, but worst-case scenario, I’ll be home in a few years and in the meantime I would love for you to keep me company.
