Greetings.

I'm part of a program called Liberty Dogs, where I train puppies to become service dogs for veterans; every day with them reminds me how patience can turn chaos into purpose. Their cuddles are the best thing I get to experience: Sunny, the good girl in the above pic, recently fell asleep on her back in my arms for 30 minutes, and I didn't want to put her down until she woke up and demanded it, even while my arms were quivering with exhaustion.

I'm also a certified paralegal, and I use those skills to pursue my own lawsuits and to help other people make sense of theirs. Between that, the puppies, reading, working out, and building + fixing electronics, I stay pretty busy — idle time really isn't my thing. On the outside, for fun I like hiking, exploring, playing video games, and riding anything with an engine.

Computers have always been my hobby, career, and honestly my passion. In here I settle for whatever gadgets and circuitry I can get my hands on. This fits a bigger pattern: I'm wired to analyze and find logic in things.

I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. I regularly meditate and believe in such things as karma and reincarnation. I also think quantum physics keeps hinting that consciousness and the universe are the same thing. That's more the lens through which I see the world than a fun fact I bring up at parties (fair warning though: I might bring up quantum physics at a party). Speaking of fun facts, here isn't one: I'm physically incapable of whistling or snapping my fingers. And no, you cannot teach me — I assure you, it cannot be done.
