I have a heartfelt confession to tell...

In my past relationships I used to do things that ultimately became counterproductive to the growth of my relationships. I would pull away; I would create problems where there were none and I would argue over small things that really meant nothing to me. I knew she deserved better, but I was too afraid to admit that I was emotionally insecure and spiritually broken. Is it safe to say that you and I were somewhat the same? The closer we got, the more vulnerable and afraid we became?

I never understood until I deliberately took the time to taste my tears and listen to my pain. That's when I realized I was just as afraid of being hurt as you were... but don't worry, this will be our little secret. Your race, age, body type is unimportant to me. I'm only interested in the innermost makings of you. My sole intention is to enjoy the mystery of knowing you. Take in every exciting opportunity to learn from you then, fall head over shoes for you, with anticipation of one day truly understanding you.

People are similar to art and unfortunately 400 words cannot paint the essence of my characters canvas, so I'm asking, can I have the privilege of viewing yours? Someone once said, "True happiness is found in those who believe they have a chance to seek it, and a stranger is just a friend you have not met yet". If you agree, don't hesitate. Ultimately, no matter what you choose, I hope you like what you see, enjoy what you read, and have a better appreciation for someone that is willing to appreciate you.
