If you are reading this, I hope you are doing well. My name is Michael Mangum and I have been incarcerated in Louisiana for 17 years. I have 8 years left until my release. I am just an old country boy that is looking for someone to talk to as a friend. I am 6' tall with black hair and dark brown eyes. I like bonfires, fishing, 4-wheel drive trucks, and just spending time loved ones. I also like to work a lot. I am a plumber by trade so there is always work. I am looking to meet someone with a good personality and that is a outgoing person. Someone that is just fun to be around and easy to talk to. I am that type of person. So, we will have something in common. While I have been in here, I have learned a lot of skills because of the job I have in maintenance. Stuff like welding and electrical work. I believe all that will come in handy upon my release. But 17 years is a long time and in that time everyone I loved but my sister has passed on. That makes this time a lot harder not having anyone to talk to when you are feeling lonely. I don' t blame nobody but myself for being in prison. No one made me run with the people I was running with. I was out there doing drugs and messing with fast women and that is what got me this 25-year sentence. You see I am in here on a sex charge dealing with a prostitute. I' m not going to get into that at this time because don' t nobody believe my side of the story anyway. I was 34 when I got that charge and now, I am 51. Now I am just trying to get my life together so I can be a productive person upon my release. That is why I am looking for a friend.
