How to Make Sushi (in Prison) by Paris Siripavaket

Ingredients: Rice, crab, soy sauce, & cream cheese from commissary.

Specialty ingredients sushi-nori and wasabi from Walkenhorst.

Baby carrots from the ICareGifts veggie platter.

Prepare:
Carrots are hard to cut with scissors!

Smash carrots in a plastic bag underneath your standard issue lockbox to get them started, then cut into matchsticks.

Re-hydrate rice in warm water, mix in cream cheese.

Cut crab sticks into thirds lengthwise.

Roll your sushi:
Lay nori on a 9×11 paper, layer with ricer, toppings in line nearest you.

Roll.
Cut carefully into pieces.

Add wasabi to soy sauce to dip. Enjoy!

Tip: Share with friends! Sharing is the best part of cooking, and surprising fellow inmates with SUSHI is a blast!
